Exodus 34:5-7
Moses asks to see God's glory and what he sees and hears leads him to worship. As we begin our discussion about what it means to be the church, we need to begin with an understanding of God so we rightly reflect His glory.

John 1:35-51
When Jesus calls His disciples, He invites them to 'Come and see,' and they see a way of life rooted in revelation and transformation. Do people see in us a shared understanding of the Jesus way? Do people see in us a Trinity way of life?
Ephesians 2:1-10
The second chapter of Ephesians shows us the "bad news" of death caused by sin, the "good news" of new life in Christ, and encourages us to embrace the good works God has prepared for us to do. What are those good works? The answer is not as complicated as we might think.
Mark 16:5-8, 1:1-3
We come to the end of Mark's Gospel: "They said nothing... for they were afraid." Does fear have the last word or does the resurrected Jesus? Maybe Mark wants us to find the answer by going back through the Gospel again: "The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." Who is this Jesus?
Mark 15:40-16:8
In Mark 16, we see that Jesus dies. He really dies. Then three days later, He lives. He really lives. Resurrection! Wow!! Good news for everyone!!! But the women tell no one. They're afraid. That's how Mark's Gospel ends. Fear has the last word. Or does it?

Mark 15:1-15
Jesus stands before Pilate with the charge of being King of the Jews. Is this a revolt against Roman rule? Most revolutions are about grabbing power to rule over others. Jesus' revolution is about giving up power to save others. How revolutionary!
Mark 14:53-72
I've been told that being ask to testify at a trial can be a nerve-racking experience. I can't imagine what it would be like to be the one on trial. In today's passage, Jesus and Peter are on trial and both intersect with our lives in profound ways.
Mark 14:26-52
By all accounts the disciples fail miserably in the Garden of Gethsemane. Are we any different? In stark contrast, despite incomprehensible stress, the Son of Man accomplishes His mission. We will look to Jesus for lessons about spiritual victory.
Mark 14:12-31
Too often we "grab and go," but when we slow down and eat a meal with family or friends, we are reminded of how significant it is to sit at table with others. This Sunday we see Jesus host His friends for a meal that redefines all our relationships.
Mark 14:1-11
Do you have a small group of friends you feel totally comfortable with? Thankfully, Jesus did. At their house, days before the crucifixion, Jesus was on the receiving end of something really amazing!
Mark 13:1-37
As we continue in Mark 13, we see that Jesus wants us to be prepared for His return. He wants us to live with an anticipation that shapes our holiness, our mission and our hope.
Mark 12:28-34
Jesus is asked what is the command upon which the whole of our lives needs to be built. That's an important question. He gives the most important answer. We're given the opportunity to live it out. How're we doing?
Mark 12:18-27
It's been said that if you want to draw a crowd, talk about the afterlife. If you want to draw a really big crowd, talk about sex. Jesus is asked a question about both, and his response offers an incredibly fresh perspective!
Mark 12:13-17
Religion and politics are two things we're told we shouldn't talk about. The Pharisees try to hit Jesus with a one-two punch of both. Once again, Jesus hits back with a response that guides us well.
Mark 11:27-12:12
We all have authority issues. In Sunday’s sermon we hear Jesus address them head on. He has the Authority. Ours is delegated. What are you doing with yours?
Mark 11:1-25
Jesus enters Jerusalem, curses a fig tree, then overturns the temple courtyard. What's going on? Judgment has come, but it's wrapped up in hope. Jesus is on a mission to form in us His character. Glorious hope, indeed!
Mark 10:32-52
Once again, the disciples don't get it. But blind Bartimaeus does. To the degree we see clearly what it means that Jesus came to give his life as a ransom, we will see what it means to follow Him.
Mark 10:13-31
Jesus addresses another challenging issue of discipleship: the power of money in our lives. How can we know if money is blinding us to the deeper call of discipleship?
