Current Sermon Series
On the evening of the first Easter Sunday, Jesus finds his disciples fearfully hiding behind locked doors, and He speaks to them a world-changing proclamation: “As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” With these simple words, Jesus commissions them (and us!) to a new way of life–a life where the extraordinary and the ordinary collide as the whole of human existence is brought under the rule and reign of Jesus. In this series, we explore the extraordinary/ordinary ways of Jesus to see that our "sent-ness" involves our work, our relationships with friends and strangers, and our mending places of brokenness. All this through lives of worship, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are sent into extraordinary/ordinary lives.
